Our passion is to delight ice cream lovers and offer sweet experiences.

The founders of Gelato Ladies studied to be ice cream masters in Italy and opened a café in Tallinn’s Old Town in the summer of 2016. In addition to a delicious experience, we also offer our guests a pleasant café environment, which is a great place to meet friends and family. Our café in the Old Town has a cozy, bright and lovely interior that can seat 20 people, and in the summer there is also a terrace in front of the house.

Our mission is to make special Italian-style artisanal ice cream or gelato every day from high-quality, natural and seasonal ingredients. We do this in the café’s on-site ice cream kitchen, and preference is given to fresh domestic and Italian ingredients from carefully selected suppliers. Well-kept employees provide excellent service, and the ice cream kitchen also works with passion and dedication to ensure the best and freshest gelato.

In addition to a taste experience, we offer our guests a pleasant café environment, which is a great place to meet friends and family. The cozy, bright and lovely interior of our café in the Old Town can seat 20 people, and there is also a terrace in front of the house in the summer season. We have everything you need to feel good in the café with children, and we are also dog-friendly. A large part of our selection is vegan sorbets, and most ice creams are gluten-free. We also offer a wide range of drinks, and trained baristas prepare high-quality coffee and tea drinks.

We are innovative and ambitious and do our work with heart, passion and love. We want to constantly develop, test and surprise with new products and experimental flavours. It’s summer every day with us, because in our stylish and comfortable café you can enjoy a wide range of ice cream at any time or take it with you on the street, we also offer the opportunity to buy gelato in a thermos box with a scale.

We also go outside the house with our cool ice cream cart, we have delighted people with our ice cream at many weddings, client events, meetings, anniversaries, festivals, private parties, etc. Contact us and we will find a suitable solution.

Action plan to reduce the use of disposable packaging

  • We care deeply about nature and have set a goal to reduce the use of take-away food and beverage packaging.
  • We sort waste in our café and ice cream kitchen and use paper bags and biodegradable dishes for takeaway.
  • Our ice cream cups are compostable and our ice cream spoons are also biodegradable.
  • For on-site consumption at the café, we serve drinks in a glass or cup, and food on a plate.
  • Gelato can be ordered in a bowl to eat on site. It is also an environmentally friendly choice to get gelato in a waffle cone, as it will not create packaging waste.
  • Customers can buy drinks with their own cup with a -10% discount.
  • Our goal is to gradually expand the use of reusable tableware and biodegradable packaging in our café, with the aim of reducing waste and being more sustainable.
